Bumblebee (2018): reinstalling Transformers

Hmmm… Rebooting Transformers… I wonder, why would someone do that? I hope you get the sarcasm because this is a spoil… I mean review about Bumblebee.

Let us begin. The war rages in the planet Cybertron.

Robin Hood (2018):an assasin’s creed twist

Hello Robin of Loxley. Where are your parents? Apparently they must be alive to manage your small fort for a house so you care about not seeing marian steeling a horse.

The Departed (2006):living in darkness

Beasts! Just by looking at the cast of the departed you know you are about to see something very very good. Also, breaking the rules!

Fantastic Beasts the Crimes of Grindelwald (2018)

Finally we get to see the home of our friendly caretaker and how he manages to handle all these tiny and huge and sweet and dangerous and not so dangerous fantastic animals. However the main story-line quickly diverges from the theme. Generally it is a story about how Grindewald came into power.

Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them (2016)

It is a dark filter for a dark movie but if you watch with a clear mind you will be pleasantly surprised by how many beautiful and “full-of-light” scenes exist. Apart from our low-profile protagonist, whom you can sympathise, the friendly chubby baker is a perfect character with which you can relate.

Mortal Engines (2018):steampunk originality

What an original idea! It might remind a steampunk world, which it is from a certain point of view. On this post-apocalyptic world, it is a nice change the fact that big cities are on wheels moving and chasing other smaller ones for resources and societies thrive on top of moving mountains.

Aquaman (2018):hello ladies

Well, it is the origin story of Aquaman. I do not think there needs to be an introduction. Could there be a better actor for Aquaman?

Types Of Conflicts

Generalizing things, life does not go smoothly. Both stronger and seemingly equal beings fight for domination and smaller ones fight for survival. In intelligent beings, these are not the only fights that take place.

In storytelling, these struggles are categorised into conflicts.

Primer (2004):an engineer’s perspective

You probably have seen other time-travel movies before. If you have not, you should. Anyway, this is another time-travel movie.

Movie genres

Storytelling is a talent found deep into human history. From the Lascaux Caves in the Pyrenees Mountains in southern France to the complex movie plots and books. Storytelling can exist in many forms such as pictures, hieroglyphs, scripts, comics, songs, poems, books, movies and speech.

To put it in perspective, movie genres is basically the type of storytelling.
